I am a candidate for District Court Judge and I am asking for your support on November 6, 2012, when the citizens of Mecklenburg County have an opportunity to implement meaningful change in Mecklenburg County District Courts.Our judicial system has limited resources and so, it is important to focus those precious resources on areas where we can make a real difference.

If elected:

• I pledge to set meaningful and appropriate bonds for violent and repeat offenders.
• I pledge to make prompt and well-reasoned decisions after listening to all who desire to be heard.
• I pledge to always pursue justice and follow the law as it is written.

As a former prosecutor, I know what qualities are important in a District Court Judge: intelligence, integrity, fairness to all, and energy to manage seemingly unmanageable caseloads. I possess each of these qualities and I hope you will place your trust in me and vote Alyson Traw for District Court Judge.
